About Us

Last updated: 26 September 2026

SaveFromMedia is a free website for saving videos, photos and sound from TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. You paste the link of a post, pick a format, and the file is saved to your phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.

Why we built it

Social apps make it easy to watch a clip and surprisingly hard to keep it: a recipe you want to cook later, a video of your own that you lost the original of, a slideshow you want to send to someone who is not on the app. Many download sites fill the page with pop-ups or ask you to install an app first. We wanted one clean page that just does the job and works the same on every device.

How the three tools work

  • TikTok: videos without the TikTok watermark, photo slideshows as a video or a ZIP of the photos, and the sound as MP3. Video and MP3 files come straight from TikTok's own servers to your browser.
  • Instagram: reels and videos from public posts. Instagram keeps picture and sound in separate files, so our server joins them into one MP4.
  • Facebook: public videos and reels, including share and fb.watch links, joined with their sound in the same way.

What makes it different

  • Free, with no sign-up, login or payment.
  • Works in any modern browser: no app, no extension.
  • No watermark added by us, and TikTok videos without TikTok's watermark whenever TikTok provides that version.
  • We don't keep your downloads. When a file has to be prepared on our server, it is deleted a few minutes after it has been sent to you. We don't store a history of what you download.

Who we are not

SaveFromMedia is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, Facebook or Meta. The videos belong to their creators, so please only download what you have the right to keep, and see our Terms of Service and copyright policy.
